Signet of Suffering
Soul Barbs
You can figure out the rest. Right?
If you need more survivablility, try going with Blood Magic..

Try a Reaper's Mark build.
Soul Reaping: 14 (12+1+1)
Curses: 13 (12+1)
Reaper's Mark
Faintheartedness
Parasitic Bond
[spare slot]
Enfeeble
Res sig
Signet of Lost Souls
Dash
You can change dash for whatever you want really. Personally I started using dash after I saw a thread here whining about dash. The speed makes kiting a lot easier, without it the defense may be a bit sparse. The free slot, I don't know, take whatever you want, it depends on what you're doing.

In arenas, I've had a lot of success with a build similar to Jyx. Basically, I use Reapers mark with blood instead of curses to allow for greater self heal.
Blood of the Aggresor
Reaper's Mark {E}
Life Siphon
Vamp Gaze
Shadow Strike
Strip Enchantment
Optional (I have prefered either Holy Veil or Dash here, but this slot is quite flexible)
Rez sig
Obviously enough, the stats are full blood and full soul reaping.

for loves sake, dont ever use this if you want a decent PVP necromancer build.
try Spoil Victor + Blood magic. take XvArchonvX's build and change the elite to Spoil Victor. i wouldnt suggest running the one he mentioned, might have more self heal but kills the purpose of degening nicely.
the one JYX gave is a nice one to use for Reapers Mark. id throw in Shadow of Fear, and take out Enfeeble for hum..feinged neutrality.

Alright cool.
Thanks for the advice all.
Now that I have tried those, however, do you guys have a shear damage build? Would like to try one of these out seeing as how necros seem to be a low priority target.
Thanks

Prophecies
You say proph skills are good, i say factions skills are good, they say nf skills are good. Curse anet for making me buy all three to be successful! and btw, proph skills are boring compared to the newer ones. they definately became more creative with age.
oh, and to the op... i dont know much about necroing (hence me being here) but i do know that for PvE SS is still supreme, and for PvP i hear that an SS/Warder is becoming popular in some builds. If not that then id have to say go degen. Monks worst enemy is degen

Try Spoil Vic. It's versatile and it causes massive damage to multiple targets, all the while giving you very high survivability. You can run it in anything from RA to GvG.
I posted it on Wiki, here's link:

Always read Varients and Notes on posted builds. I've personally run a varient of this build in GvG. You should see what happens to the Guild Lord when he has Spoil Vic on. I sense little experience with the skill...
